Why Attend?
Memory aids have long been essential tools for helping individuals with dementia maintain connection to the memories they value. Now, new technologies are making it possible to deliver these supports in more tailored, accessible, and innovative ways.
This webinar, presented by leading researcher Dr. Philip McCallion, PhD, ACSW, will introduce participants to newly developed memory interventions using AI. You’ll learn how a person’s own memories serve as building blocks for these tools—and how virtual “guardrails” can create safe, supportive environments for users and caregivers.
You’ll also come away with practical questions to guide your decision-making when considering implementing AI- or chatbot-supported care in your organization.
Learning Objective
By the end of this session, participants will be able to:
- Identify how emerging technologies such as chatbots and artificial intelligence can expand and personalize memory interventions for people with dementia.
Who Should Attend
This webinar is recommended for: Administrators, Nurses, Social Workers, Dietitians, Recreational Therapists, Catholic Chaplains, and all health care professionals involved in long-term care and dementia support.
