From left to right, we honor the achievements of: Tora Perkins, Renee Allain, Leslie Hoot, Angie Schmidt, Kelsey Alvarez, and Helene Bertazzo who graduated Wednesday, June 18, 2025.
We are proud to celebrate the most recent graduates of the Roots of Caring Leadership Program, a transformative experience that nurtures both the heart and the mind. This program is designed for staff members working in facilities sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, equipping them to lead with compassion, integrity, and purpose.
The Roots of Caring program offers in-depth education on the Mission of the Carmelite Sisters and the unique principles that shape Catholic healthcare. It also fosters personal and professional growth through leadership formation, helping participants deepen their understanding of servant leadership, ethical decision-making, and the spiritual dimensions of care for elders.
Each graduate brings their own gifts to this journey, and each leaves the program with a renewed commitment to honoring the dignity of every person they serve. These individuals now carry forward the legacy of compassionate care that is at the heart of Carmelite ministry.
Congratulations to this year’s graduates! May you continue to be rooted in faith, service, and love as you lead with courage and kindness in your communities.
