It is care to relieve pain, symptoms and stress of serious illness and provides hope to live life as full as possible. This two day seminar will discuss the benefits of palliative care; how to assess your residents’ pain and control it; ethics and ministry; spiritual healing; special attention for those with Dementia; the care of the dying as it relates to the Jewish, Islamic and Christian religions; and how to assess your facility’s Palliative Care Program.
